Ray and daughters, Julia and Alison have set up this Snowdrop Memorial Fund in Jean's memory. Ray has kindly donated £200 towards a Snowdrop Memorial Garden in the Washington area.
Jean sadly died on the 22 October 2009 age 62years, after a two year fight against mesothelioma.
Peacefully on 7th October at the Princess of Wales Hospital, Ceri (our princess), of Glenwood Close, Coychurch. Dearly loved wife of Jarred, much loved mother of Gareth and Greg, loving daughter of Mac and Pauline, dear sister of Desri and Jonathan and devoted grandmother, aunty and cousin.Ceri will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

This site is a tribute to Brenda Peden. Wife of the late Jim, wonderful mum of Graham, Barry, Daren and Caroline, mother-in-law to Shian, Sue and the late Gary, and besotted grandmother to James, Jemma, Ryan, Kieran, Taya, Ashton and Declan.
Myself and my mother decided to set up a Breath of Life Fund in memory of my father who passed away on 4 October 2008 from Fibrosing Alveolitis and Lung Cancer. He was always such a happy person and so helpful to other people. He always had a hobby on the go and enjoyed life. We will always miss and love him very much.
Married to Frank for 49 years, mother to Deb, Paul, Amanda & Liz, Beryl died in August 2007 from Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis.
Beryl was a rare breed - compassionate to others, kind and tolerant to those who others would have given up on, warm and fun to be around to all who knew her. A truly classy lady.
This fund has been set up in loving memory of our Father Salvatore Fragola.
By raising money for the British Lung Foundation we are hoping that more research can be done to understand the causes of Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis, and hopefully one day find a cure.

This fund is in memory of my mother Eleanor Edwards who sadly passed away on 7th January 2010 of Pulmonary Fibrosis, a form of lung disease that slowly over a period of time deteriorates your lung capacity until it literally takes your breath away.
John died from aggressive fibrous lung disease on 23rd May 2012 in hospital in Exeter. He was seriously ill for only a month or so but had had symptoms but no firm diagnosis for about two years . Since his symptoms were not life threatening at first and he was always busy, he was determined not to let it rule his life.

My grandad was the most wonderful person you could ever wish to meet and we were all so lucky to have him be part of our lives for so long.
Kenneth was born 21st March 1938 and
worked most of his life in the building
He died on 22nd August 2010 after suffering for 6 years with Pulmonary Fibrosis.
However we still do not know officially what he died from.
A much loved and much missed wonderful Mother, Grandmother and Aunt.
Although our Mother had been ill for some time with chest and breathing problems it was not deemed to be life-threatening. However, she was taken from us suddenly and unexpectedly on Saturday, 4 September 2004.
Freda was a devoted wife,mother,grandmother, sister and friend.She was always fun-loving, jovial and relaxed, with a wonderful sense of humour.
Throughout her life she demonstrated her complete devotion to her family and a lively, caring interest in every one she met.
Peter Brooks was a strong supporter of the BLF and was given a lot of support by his local Breathe Easy Group. He died in November, 2000, after a five year battle with fibrosing alveolitis. He never allowed the illness to define him and lived with courage and good humour until the end.
This fund has been set up in the memory of Phillip Taylor.
Phil died on Saturday 3 March 2012, aged 62. He had lifelong chronic asthma and later in life developed bronchiectasis.
Phil had a fighting spirit that meant he never allowed his lung problems to prevent him from living a very active life full of happiness, family and love.
Where do I start..... John was a wonderful husband dad and grandad, and his family was all he needed. By his own admission he was a stubborn sod, but we loved him and wouldn't change a thing about him.
He was taken from us far too early in March 2013 after being diagnosed with COPD 18 months earlier.
Leonard Lott, Len to his friends and family was a devoted and loving husband, dad, grandad and great grandad. Our lives will never be the same without him, he will never ever be forgotten and will always be in our hearts.
My dearest mum sadly died on 28 December 2011. She is greatly missed, will always be loved and leaves many fond memories. This fund is in loving memory of her. Mum struggled with lung problems for a significant part of her life so anything that helps towards better care and treatment for people with lung disease is a very good cause.

Kevin suffered from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease for several years and sadly passed away on 28th August 2013 after contracting Pneumonia.
Hannah was only 45 years old when she passed away on June 20th 2012 after a courageous fight against pulmonary fibrosis. She was beautiful, caring and kind with a fantastic sense of humour. She had the ability to make everyone feel special and her generosity knew no bounds.
Jean was my Mum. She spent her life helping other people. She played the organ at our local chapel for over 50 years, was a member of the W.I., had been on the local parish council and was involved in numerous other organisations including our local concert party which raised thousands of pounds for charity.
Karen and Chris Puddifoot and Tim Roney had taken time out of their education/work to cycle around the world to raise money for the British Lung Foundation (BLF) having had a friend with a terminal lung-related illness. They were due to cycle 12,000 miles.
Sidney Saunders sadly died from mesothelioma on 25 July 2008, friends and family have set up this Snowdrop Memorial Fund in his memory.
The money from the Snowdrop Fund supports the work of the Mick Knighton Mesothelioma Research Fund.
What can I tell you about my Dad? He was the gentlest, most generous man you could meet. He knew the tone of voice that I would use on the phone if I needed something, and wouldn't think twice about stopping whatever he was doing and jumping in the car.
Pop - born 4th January 1936 - A wonderful brother, dad, grandad and friend who will be sorely missed by us all.
In his early years Pop became quite a sportsman and excelled at football, boxing and badminton. Latterly he got much enjoyment from watching football and horse racing on television.
Harold was born in Pontypridd on May 07, 1948, the youngest of 13 siblings. Married to Barbara on August 28th, 1982 and father to Louise and Matthew. He is much loved and will always be remembered by all his friends and family for his good nature, sense of humour and love of rugby.
An amazing Mum, Grandmother and Great Grandmother - who inspired her family and many other children and adults in their musical aspirations.
She had a fantastic sense of humour and we will remember her with love and laughter forever.
Brian died in February 2013 three years after contracting pulmonary fibrosis. He had been a dedicated schoolmaster for more than 40 years, inspiring countless children through his enthusiasm and passion for sport in particular. Skiing was his favourite sport and he was still teaching this well into his retirement.

Joseph was an academic clinical lecturer when he died aged 37. He qualified at Guy's and St Thomas' Medical School in 2000.
After working at various hospitals in London, mostly St Thomas', in 2007 he joined Imperial College as a clinical research fellow and was awarded a PhD for his work on emphysema and chronic bronchitis.
This fund has been created in memory of the late Harriet Gerlach - a loving wife, mother, grandmother and greatgrandmother who sadly passed away on 9th August 2010 aged 79 due to chronic lung disease.
Harriet was born in Stirling and was one of 4 children.
Pam was a loving wife to Harry, Mum to Emma, Lara, Matt and Imogen and grandmother to James and 'the bump'.
She lived life to the full and had many adventures along the way.
Pam was known for her sense of humour and the courage and strength with which she faced her illness.
John Leith, who passed away in April 2008, was a much-loved husband, brother, father, grandfather and friend. We all loved him very much.
John was an extraordinary man; a deeply committed Christian and family man. Never one to watch life from the sidelines, always at the heart of things doing whatever he could for other people.
Dan was our talented and creative son. He fronted a rap group called 'Untold' and worked with children with special needs. In his last year he was studying at Roehampton University for his teaching qualification. He had a wide circle of friends due to his generous nature and dazzling smile!
In memory of my wonderful, funny Uncle Warren who died suddenly aged just 46 on 5th of November 2012 of viral pneumonia leaving my cousins Oliver and Lara without their beloved Daddy. He is missed loads by everyone that knew him.
On the 29th November 2008, Peter sadly passed away at Barnsley District General Hospital after a 5 year struggle with pulmonary fibrosis, aged 64.
My dad had such an active life and regularly enjoyed rural walks, fly fishing, clay pigeon shooting and also attending horse events with his daughter Chantelle.
JAMES - Linda of Wood Street, Nuneaton. Passed away peacefully on 2nd May 2020, aged 59 years. Devoted Wife to Stephen, loving Mum to Rebecca and Charlotte, proud Nan to Jameela, Erina, Zeena and Charlie and devoted Daughter, Auntie, Sister and Niece.
Dad passed away peacefully on Christmas Day 2010 after a long battle against Fibrosing Alveolitis.
He was a highly regarded Police Officer and Sergeant in the Hampshire Constabulary and had many life long friends in and out of the Police Force.
Colin was born 8th July 1950 in Manchester and died on the 9th November 2017 in Warwick
People gravitated towards him - he made people feel special which was evident at the amount of people at his funeral. He was a wonderful friend, brother in law, uncle and loving and devoted father to Christopher, Abigail and Nicholas who miss him greatly. Colin was my husband, teacher and best friend who has left a hole in my heart forever.

David and I were married for almost 34 yrs.We have 3 children and 5 Grandchildren with a sixth on the way.It is so sad that David will not get to meet him or her.David was a kind funny clever man, he also loved to play the grumpy old man at times.He made me laugh and I miss him so much.

This site is a tribute to Lenny Irving from Wsshington. Lenny died peacefully on the morning of Tuesday 2nd June at the Queen Elizabeth hospital aged 69 years. A dearly loved dad of Michael, Colleen and Karris, much loved grandad of Mark, Kelly and Lee and a dear brother of Stan and Michael.He is sadly missed and will always be remembered.

Bob (The Artist) passed away peacfully on April 30 2012. Bob was the dearly loved husband of Marian, beloved dad to Michelle and Lindsey, father in law to D and Neil, a devoted grandad to Morgan and Tayla and dear brother of Billy, Jackie and Norman.
Michael sadly died on May 17th 2011. He was 68yrs old. He was taken ill in December and later diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis, which none of us had ever heard of. He was on an oxygen machine 24hrs a day right from the onset of the illness.
Airline pilot, physicist, sailor, model maker, a man who could turn his hand to practically anything.
A kind man with a great sense of humour who's modesty belied the fact that he was a world authority in his chosen field of aviation safety.
John passed away on June 8th 2005 suffering from small cell lung cancer.
HALL Allen Frederick. Of Tulliver Road, Nuneaton. Passed away peacefully at home on 7th April 2020 aged 78 years. Much loved Husband to Sheila, special Dad to Jackie, Ady & Marie and Steven & Karol, and a proud Grandad. Private family funeral to take place at the Heart of England Crematorium.
This site is a tribute to John David Copley. He was a loving and kind husband, father and grandfather and a valued friend. Having had a healthy life, he died suddenly from pneumonia on 8 March 2018. He was found to have scarring on his lungs which was pulmonary fibrosis. We have therefore chosen the British Lung Foundation for donations.
Dearest husband and father who died on 22nd December 2013, aged 81.
Trevor had suffered from COPD and Pulminary Fibrosis.
We are setting up this fund to keep his memory alive and help others who may be suffering from these life threatening diseases.

Not only a stunning human being inside and out but also a super talented dancer. With a beautiful smile to light up the world he touched all who had the pleasure of meeting him. Jimmie was a well known, talented and much loved playwright for the stage, television and radio. He lost his brave eleven year battle against COPD on January 29th 2011 but he never lost his laughter, his smile, his hope and his care for others.
Brian was a loving man who thought the world of his wife and family. He lived life to the full and had a wonderful sense of humour.
He contracted pulmonary fibrosis and fought for some time against the constraints it placed on his day to day life.

A wonderful warm hearted outgoing lady, she would fill everywhere with her laughter, personality and zest for life. She was a real "people person" loved by everyone who were lucky enough to have met her.
Joan Winifred Cumming was a sister, friend, wife, mum, nan and a great grandmother in both senses of the word. She always knew what to say, cheered everybody up and gave an endless amount of love to the people in her life. That love will live on forever in our hearts and the memories we shared.
BANKS - Stuart of Willington Street, formerly of Attleborough, Nuneaton. Passed away suddenly after a long period of health issues on 22nd December 2019, aged 74 years. Devoted Husband to Belinda, loving Dad to John, Father-in-law to Kate, proud Grandad to Keira and Riley and Brother to David and Eric.
This site is a tribute to Freda Brailey, who was born in Battersea on May 20, 1937. Sadly she passed away in January 2020, after suffering from COPD for about 5 years. She is much loved and will always be remembered.
We lost our dear mother Caryl Godwin on Christmas morning. She has left a huge gap behind and we hope she is flying high with the wind. Our mother passed away quite suddenly due to Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. We hope part of her legacy will help the British Lung Foundation who provide invaluable support for COPD and associated diseases.

Rod was a truly wonderful man, yes it is true, we are biased, but anyone who met him was blessed.
He was a gentleman in every sense of the word; kind & gentle with a great sense of humour and always thought of others before himself. We were such a close family; there was nothing more important to Rod than his family.

Sandra my darling wife and best friend came into my life in 1968. We were married in April 1969 and spent a wonderful 44 years together.
Sandra was a devoted mother to our son (Kenneth) and daughter (Wendy) much loved Grandma by our 5 grandchildren. Jessica, Rebecca, Chloe, Aaron and Skye-Maree.
We lost the best husband/father/father-in-law/grandad to COPD on the 27 January 2013. To honour Jimmy's memory we have set up a Breath of Life Fund so that more research can be carried out and to assist other sufferers of COPD/Lung problems.
Moore, Gerald Victor of Wellington passed away unexpectedly at Musgrove Park Hospital on the 19th of December 2019, aged 83 years. Gerald will be greatly missed by his loving wife Beryl, his children Allison & Darren, step children John & Marie, his step grandchildren, along with all his other family and friends.
Les was a devoted husband to me for almost forty three years. He was my sweetheart, soulmate and best friend. Les was a loving father and grandfather, and was well liked by a very wide circle of friends. He had an irrepressible sense of fun, a ready smile, and was always willing to help anyone.

Jimmy was diagnosed in April 2006 with mesothelioma. Jimmy enjoyed life to the full with his wife Beverley and only daughter Leah, now aged 13 years old. He was a proud man who worked hard to make his family happy.
Len was the beloved husband of Louise, devoted father to Adam and Kerry and much loved father in law to Jacky and Liam and Doodie to his grandchildren Gemma, Sophie, Josh and Ralf. Len played sport all his life and never smoked. He was a qualified squash coach and played a high standard of local football as a young man.
Dorothy passed away peacefully in Abbotts Barton Nursing Home on 25th October 2019, aged 75 years. Loving wife to the late Neville, devoted mother to Lawrence and Philip and mother in law to Berni and Jane.
'As you may or may not know we lost our wonderful mum at the beginning of last year due to chronic lung problems. She was such a kind and loving person who would always put everyone else before herself. She was an amazing mum, wife, granny, daughter, sister and friend to all. Life just has not been the same without her around.
Colin was a very close and dear friend to many of us within the Lloyd's Insurance Market. Fondly referred to as Shine, he will always be remembered as a fun loving, honest and genuine guy who sadly passed away in April 2011.
The family of George Lugg are honoured to set up the George Lugg Memorial Snowdrop Fund in memory of a brave and wonderful husband, father and grandfather. George died of mesothelioma on the 11 June 2010, four years and one month after his diagnosis.
This fund is set up to support the lung foundation to find a cure for Pulmonary Fibrosis.
The fibrosis results in the lungs getting scars which would result in the lungs not being able to to take oxygen from the air and passing this effectively to the blood.
The Fibrosis can be managed but a cure is yet to be discovered.
Thank you to all who have contributed so far to my dad's breathe of life fund. All money raised and donated goes to the British Lung Foundation for research and help for lung related diseases and sufferers. Our aim to raise money continues, as our loss of our wonderful dad will never go away.
The wonderful Desiree Molloy (nee Binz) was born on the 13th January 1958 and lived in Tyne and Wear with husband Mick and children Andrew, 11 and Danielle, 17.
Desiree was diagnosed with IPF in July 2007 which as of yet has no known cause or cure.
